Adventures with Walmart

I bought 2 new tires cheap at wallyworld in 2008...45,000 mile warranty. This weekend I had the usual rotation with the oil change and found a bump on one of those tires. It has just over 20,000 miles...not even half the life it was promised. I checked online and found other bloggers mentioning how they recieved a pro-rated credit, one guy got $13 as his tire had used up 30,000 miles. So I went to Walmart on Monday expecting 15 or 20 bucks off because of the lower mileage. Things went badly from when I pulled up to the garage. Instead of the tire guy writing up my order, he ran off with my paperwork (I brought the original reciept with me). So, I go inside and there are 4 employees surrounding one other at the computer. She looks up at me and says, "What do you want, I have to go to floral." Well, I was so shocked I don't think I answered her other than to point at my paperwork on the counter and say I need it back. I think the lady realized how abrupt she had been and started to backtrack and become helpful.

Missing people.

I've been to 10 different schools, grades 1-12. I've lost track of hundreds, actually, thousands of people. The girls grew up, married and changed their names. How can I find Diane Lewis who graduated in 1978 from North Chicago Community High School in North Chicago, Illinois and then ended up moving to the Mississippi gulf coast later that year?

Influenza = Death

The flu killed more people than all of WWI. It started mild in the spring of 1917 and by October had mutated to killer strain. Please take precautions. Get Ready! Put up 60 days food and water and quarantine yourself when it STARTS to get bad. Don't go to work. Don't go to the store. Don't go outside. And Don't let anybody in. The only people who survived the last plague were those who didn't allow mailmen to enter their town. Don't expect the government to provide you with any assistance. They'll be looking out for themselves. Good luck to us all and God Bless!

BPA is bad

This information was sent to me as an email.
Cancer Update from Johns-Hopkins

Bottled water in your car is very dangerous!

On the Ellen show, Sheryl Crow said this is what caused her breast cancer. It has been identified as the most common cause of the high levels of dioxin in breast cancer tissue.

Sheryl Crow's oncologist told her: women should not drink bottled water that has been left in a car. The heat reacts with the chemicals in the plastic of the
bottle which releases dioxin into the water. Dioxin is a toxin increasingly found in breast cancer tissue. So please be careful and do not drink bottled water that has been left in a car.

Use a stainless steel canteen or a glass bottle instead of plastic!

No plastic containers in microwave.

No water bottles in freezer.

No plastic wrap in microwave.

A dioxin chemical causes cancer, especially breast cancer.
Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic
bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic.
Do not heat our food in the microwave using plastic containers.. . This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat,=2 0and plastic releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the
body...
Instead, use glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food... You get the same results, only without the dioxin.
So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else.

Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper.

It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc.
Plastic wrap, such as Saran wrap, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food.

Cover food with a paper towel instead.

Amy and I bought 3 new glass bowls to use in the microwave. They were listed as BPA free and have rubber lids.

Beware the Antichrist

If there is peace in the Middle East, if there is a grand peace maker, beware.

Psychology 101 Emergency

What would entice or convince a person to place false hardeners onto their fingers, as in, false fingernails, and create hands that are defenseless and practically useless? What would entice or convince a person to wear short open clothing to give an offender easy access? I wonder how women were conditioned to make themselves into venerable weaklings and not recognize it for what it is...a lie. The best life is for the strongest. The fulfillment of life is found by the wise, for they know the truth. Anything less, is questionable, a tactic perpetrated to keep women down and in their place.
